We are a small, friendly school where everyone is valued and supported to be the best they can. Our school ethos is based around our motto - 'Learning for Life'.
I am proud to be the Head Teacher at Marston, where all staff are dedicated to providing all our pupils with an education and the emotional support they need to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Our children learn in small class groups where teaching meets their individual needs. Throughout their time at our school they have many opportunities to try different activities. These include sporting events at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, a variety of trips, Forest Schools and using the gym in Uttoxeter.
In September 2018 we formed 'The Acorn Federation' along with Long Lane C.E Primary School. As a Federation we enjoy joint days where the children take part in activities together and develop friendships across both schools. We take part in sports events together and in June 2018 held our first joint sports day which was a great success.
Due to our small size there is a strong atmosphere of family within the school and children look after each other, with our older pupils being given responsibilities.
Our website gives you a taste of life at Marston, but please come and visit us to find out more. I look forward to meeting you to show you our wonderful school.
